  • Extremely versatile, can be found from seaside dunes to wetlands.

  • Slow growing bush type palm may develop an arching trunk to 8’ tall.

  • Berries are used as a treatment for an enlarged prostate gland, and to help improve urinary flow. They may even help prevent prostate cancer.

  • Berries also attract wildlife, including bears.
