Can you imagine the annual food bill at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens to feed over 2,000 animals?  Your support, through the Annual Fund, helps us keep our animals well fed and healthy.  Please help share in their care!  Here is a sample of the approximate cost to feed three of our larger animals for one year.                    

* Sheena the Elephant  (per day) $27.60  (annual food cost)  $10,074.

* Quito the Gorilla  (per day) $8.75  (annual food cost)  $3,200.

* Tuco the Jaguar  (per day)  $3.67  (annual food cost)  $1,339.
